Practice day here for the #Sebring12! Defending champs from last year, we’ve got plenty to fight for. #respectthebumps #BeIconic #CadillacRacing #IMSA
⚡️ANNOUNCEMENT⚡️ I will be racing in @dtm.official for a second season with @emil_frey_racing! After becoming a race winner last year, we want to go back and achieve even more. The unique calendar, the top-notch competition, and general buzz around DTM is why I wanted to be back. First round is in Oschersleben, and I cannot wait. #itsarealferrari

Fair to say we’ve come away from the #Sebring12 battered and bruised, but thankfully @pipoderani is fine after being tagged by a GTD and having a monster shunt. It was a heart-stopping few seconds while Pipo was upside down and not yet radioing in. We had some awesome battles along the way, and an incredibly fast @whelenmotorsports @cadillacvseries car, so it stings to lose a good result and a potential back to back. It just means we know we are wicked fast, and will be hunting for wins next time out… 😉 Even if we didn’t get the W on track, home-made pizza by the campers lit by fireworks counts as W in the catering department for me. #BeIconic #CadillacRacing

Come and get ready with me for the #Sebring12 💁🏻♂️ #BeIconic #CadillacRacing
Coming home from Sebring isn’t the first time dealing with that feeling of incompleteness, a loss of perspective after disappointment. More and more I want to do things that help to take away from that mess, not add to it. Recently, that’s been riding as far from civilisation as I can and I’ve been looking longingly at the forest and down bridleways that snake away from the tarmac. @fairlightcycles are a company I admire. Apart from feeling like a warm group of people rather than a faceless brand, they understand how to separate good engineering from superficial choices. They are also wizards when it comes to turning some steel tubes (very nice steel tubes mind) into something that has a character, a spring in its step. The Secan model that I bought is their take on a gravel bike, throw in some @zippspeed and @sramroad XPLR bling and it just felt damn right within 100m of leaving my house, a feeling familiar from my favourite cars leaving pitlane. Expect some longer adventures from me on this rig. ☺️ If you have any questions, Dom at Fairlight is incredibly responsive, just fire an email in! Another great thing about them. See my build choices below, any questions just ask in the comments.
