As trans folks living in 2024 UK, we are told that we are not valid, not real, not worthy of the same rights as everyone else. We have our healthcare and protections removed under a government that doesn’t see us as human. We fight because we have no choice.
In the same UK, we see more and more brave young trans kids and young folk coming out and being counted. We see trans people thriving in all walks of life, excelling in their chosen careers, creating communities, families and showing the world that we are just as deserving of love, kindness and respect as anyone else. We’re not going anywhere.
