Jake Graf Instagram – This week 4 years ago, Jake and I were on our Babymoon in Miami, enjoying a brief last break together as a twosome, while we waited for our Millie to arrive.
I was very ill for the first few days, unaware of why I couldn’t taste or smell anything, and we watched as the world began to shut down around us.
Jake and I got back on one of the last flights home from the US, arriving in Ireland soon after as travel bans came in, getting to Belfast many weeks ahead of Millie’s birth, but grateful to be there.
So much has happened in 4 years, but that last week with friends in the sun, awaiting our daughter’s birth before the world imploded, will always remain etched in my memory.
