I don’t know how many times I introduced this Stinger toy to the ring, but knew that my career couldn’t be complete until I was able to introduce THE @stinger just once. While I missed him by a couple of weeks on my way out of wrestling, I jumped on the opportunity two years later to work an independent show with him so I could do just that. Meeting Sting and being able to accomplish that, was the icing on the cake of my career that I needed. I never expected what @aew has brought to all of us who work in and watch pro wrestling. We have been able to see Sting take an already, absolutely SPECTACULAR career and add yet 3 more years of unbelievable moments. So many of us who were just excited to see Sting the performer, got to know Sting the person. And if we thought the wrestler was on another level, I wish all of you could know the human being. Sting, thank you for EVERYTHING you’ve done in your illustrious career. From the first time I saw you on tv to the first time I was able to see you live at Spring Stampede and every moment in the ring since the early 90’s through this past Wednesday night. And THANK YOU for being the person you are without the paint. I appreciate all of your time and heart that you shared with me from catering to the car to the airports and planes. You and your career are one of a kind, thank you for being you. It’ll be bittersweet, but I cannot wait to see you do your thing one last time tomorrow night in Greensboro at #AEWRevolution! #🔑4L

All eyes on @darbyallin @aew Revolution, from the legends in attendance to everyone watching around the world! #AEWRevolution
I didn’t announce @stinger last night, WE announced..nearly 17,000 of us @aew Revolution for his SPECTACULAR final match in his one of a kind career. Wrestling is my escape from the everyday and last night, it also felt like a trip back to my childhood. My first live WCW show was Spring Stampede in 1994. I begged @therealdannybonaduce for backstage passes, played Sting’s theme song on my teeth and Danny made my wish come true. At 14, I roamed freely and met everyone that walked by. Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, @ricflairnatureboy , @dustinrhodestx , Mean Gene, etc. @diamonddallaspage took on @marcmero , @realmickfoley and Maxx Payne took on the Nasty Boys, Flair wrestled Steamboat and Rick Rude defended his title against Sting. Last night in Greensboro, 30 years later..I found myself again roaming freely among those legends I grew up admiring. Sting, Flair, Steamboat, DDP, @nikitakoloff1 , Magnum TA, Arn Anderson, @jakethesnakeddt , @jimrossbbq , @tonyschiavone24 and more for a Slamboree-like reunion on what might have been the greatest event in AEW history, to celebrate Sting. What a bonus to actually get to be a small part of it this time around. (What is life?! Follow your dreams, everything is possible.) In addition to Sting’s final match, the entire roster was able to showcase what they can do and blow away the @gbocoliseum crowd. @mr_mansury and the production crew hit another home run with the dynamic effects that were visible all night. @shutupexcalibur @officialtaz13 and all of our commentators added the soundtrack and gave us a night we will never forget..ALL moving parts courtesy of @tonyrkhan #ThankYouTony #ThankYouSting #ThankYouGreensboro #AEWRevolution CATCH THE REPLAY ON @bleacherreport 🎥 @nikitakoloff1 @westsidegunn
