Kevin Smith Instagram – 6 years ago, I nearly dropped dead from a massive widow-maker heart attack after getting off a stage. So last night, I celebrated the anniversary of not dying by getting on a stage (courtesy of #cruiseaskew). With less than a 20% chance of surviving a 100% occlusion, I was so lucky Doctor Ladenheim saved me. And yet… Because Life can Life the fuck out of you sometimes, there have been moments in the last 6 years where I’ve felt it would’ve been better if the heart attack had finished me. But not today. Today I’m grateful to be alive. Bonus: In a few hours, I’m gonna see the lady who gifted me with that life.
