One of the most asked questions I get from young wrestlers is how to get comfortable with the motion to hit a super duck well here’s a nice way to not only start learning the motion you need to hit your super duck but also a little cheat to make your misdirection duck a little easier (yes I understand it looks like this was shot with a potato you can still see the technique though 😂)
Our camp here at @combat_concepts_academy_ started small but it keeps growing week by week! The great thing about having these small intimate groups is that we can have a little fun and the kids get an opportunity to learn some moves and techniques that don’t get taught traditionally. I used this bounce the ball drill to demonstrate timing before we got into one of my favorite slick takedowns the super duck! I wanna thank my campers for coming through these past couple weeks and @andrewsjj_judo for helping me get this together! Remember guys summer wrestling makes winter champions! I run club practices for youth and high school every Monday Wednesday and when the school year/season starts we’ll be adding Friday as well, come check us out we offer great pricing and family packages if the parents want to jump in as well!

Workin with my man @theodoretarbush on using our whole body to generate that power on the lead hook without loading up at all. Super hard worker and a great listener my favorite kind of people to work with! Come by @combat_concepts_academy_ 11am Monday-Friday or 5pm Monday and Wednesday and learn some of the fundamentals and finer details of striking with me! I work with all levels from beginners to amateur and pro fighters offering privates to all age levels in striking and wrestling and with enough interest we may add a kids striking class to the schedule! Special shoutout to my boy @patdowney the only other dude my age I know that loves 80’s pops like I do 😂

Here we go! My first super fight grappling match, and it’s a main event match up against a top tier competitor! Always push yourself and test your limits you’ll never discover where they are if you never try
It’s been a great day of coaching and training here @combat_concepts_academy_ we went over some more intricate techniques on top then got in some live wrestling and then it was time to train with coach @jbmachine3x working on angles, controlling the center line, working that hip mobility can’t wait till the season to see the fruits of my guy’s labors
