Francis has been honored for his incredible contributions to society and Black History with an unveiling of his new statue at Xavier University of Louisiana, where he served as President for nearly half a century! Dr. Francis has touched millions of lives through his commitment to civil rights, education access and economic development. He has left a lasting impact not only on the university and city of New Orleans, but the entire nation. This truly is a fitting tribute during Black History Month! 👏🏽
