The Covid year of 2020 has had a profound impact upon the lives of everyone & for many reasons. Without undermining the effect upon others, I had some of the most inspiring experiences of my lifetime including visiting Norway, the final destination (that I’m aware of) that my DNA is linked back to. I felt the presence of my ancient ancestors as I negotiated the past & the present by performing the haka on the glacial shores of the Viking Village in Aurland.#maoriviking @thebeardstruggle

Caught this double spiral almost helix shape from the igniting embers. Attending a sweat lodge in Utah, the Ute chief explained to me that these igniting embers were spirits. (The lyrics are words from a Leonard Cohen song)
