I’m lucky my wife lets me anywhere near a kitchen ( open flames) but honestly the last year or so I’ve come to really enjoy cooking. Feels very creative. I know @tommylee has been cooking for years( Amazing cook ) and we talk about how relaxing it is. BTW we upped our fire insurance just in case…. Fell in love with this babe 14 years ago.I asked her to marry me on a candle lit beach here. Thank god she said yes. We went to the same beach the other day where I hit my knee and was watching our daughter running around playing. Amazing how life’s little adventures play out. We renewed our vows here last week too staring out at the ocean. I feel we fall deeper in love and understand this complicated world more and more every time we come here. I wish I would’ve got this message earlier in life but through sobriety came a new beginning. I’m sober 22 years now with 6 years before that and 4 before that.That 32 years of not putting poison into my system.I guess I needed to slip a few times to get to where I am today-It takes a while to rewire the brain and cutting poisonous people out is as important as cutting out drugs and alcohol. We dont know how much longer we have so it’s important to just live in the moment. Yes it’s a bumper sticker but god is it a good one or what? Enjoy the weekend. Remember it’s never too late to restart your life.
