If I could I would live in the sun all year round. Children and school and life have really gotten in the way of that wish.
I wouldn’t miss seasons. As a Brit, we wouldn’t really know about seasons. But they have them in other countries.
We have 2 seasons. Cold and wet and slightly less cold and wet. I LOVE July because there are still a few months ahead that have
a chance of being glorious. Then I start getting anxious around August because the change is on the horizon. I Suck at winters. And my birth month is February. February Sucks,sucks a big bag of pickled dicks. I like my dicks unpickled. Seasoned but not pickled. December is Christmas though, And I love Christmas. I didn’t until Ayda. And now I do. It’s magic, so that’s why it’s my second favourite month.
Creep by Radiohead goes through. I thought it might. I wasn’t sure how big of a hit Common People was around the globe. This round was Common People for me. I met Thom Yorke very briefly at Abbey Road Studios. I loved Radiohead at the time and was thrilled just to walk past him. He saw me, put his hands out like jazz hands and mockingly said ‘’Robbie Williams’’ in the way a school bully would to
a student a few years below him.
I used to be a whipping boy for artists like him, in the press with their opinions and in person with their air of superiority and disapproval. I would have to separate the wanker from their art an awful lot. To varying degrees of success. Either that or cover one of their songs -that they have mixed feelings about- in a swing style. Very much on purpose.Im THAT childish.
That gives me an idea. A covers album and every track is someone who hates me.

This is just epic. Peak 80’s Business. I will probably think about this for a while.
I have hidden a few times. My most memorable was hiding from Tina Turner backstage at some TV show. I felt too
nervous to meet her, and the other one was behind a sofa -backstage again- Hiding from Karl Lagerfeld. Because he
cast a very imposing figure and he scared me. God bless them Both RIP.

Todays inkling ….I painted Jesus, then I didn’t like the face I drew so I cut out the face hoping to come up with some inspiration. It didn’t work out. All that’s left
of it is this photograph that I took before I cut the face up. I wish I hadn’t, it’s not as bad as I thought.
In other news. My mind won’t won’t have certain things go in it. The reason I say this is it struck me today when a lady I was passing said ‘’Oh your kids and my kids go to -such and such- school together’’ And I realised I didn’t know what the school was called, it just won’t go in. The name seemed foreign to me. I was watching Adventures in Babysitting the other night and BB King was in one scene. I couldn’t remember his name but I could remember his guitars name *Lucille. So I googled Lucille guitar and up came BB king.I know who BB King is of course. Always have done. But his name just fell out of my head. It just wasn’t there. And without Google, I don’t think it would have returned.
Anyway, early dementia? Or is my Memory bank full? or just some normal shit?

So Ricky goes through. Which leads me to this little story about Mark Morrison.
It was the year just after I left Take That. At the Smash Hits Awards. I must have been there to give someone a trophy or whatever.
Anyway, I arrive to find out im sharing a dressing room with Mark Morrison. I knocked on the door and he wouldn’t let me in.
I wasn’t disappointed then and im not now. Having the story is better than being let in.
When Ricky came out with Living La Vida Loca. I was in my bloated drinking phase *as opposed to my Bloated chocolate phases*
He looked like a god. Insanely good-looking.Unfathomably good-looking and sexy as fuck. I compared his outside to my inside then compared my outside to his outside. Nothing to do with him but it made me hate myself even more than I already did. It was like he came from a different planet. I feel like there should be an end to this story where I tie it in a bow but I haven’t got a bow, so thats it.
Last night I went to see my exhibition, before it opens to the public. I was overwhelmed with pride and gratitude. And honestly, if my meds didn’t work so well, I would have shed a tear. While I was there I looked through the gift shop and there was a book with a quote
from Virgil Abloh on it. It said ‘’Everything I do is for the 17-year-old version of myself ‘’ My 17-year-old self right now is all aglow and wondering how the fuck I’ve done it. I just figuratively gave him a big hug.
