4 years ago today my life changed. 1.4.2020. This is a picture taken on that day, moments after I met the man who would become my husband. Just look at how I’m looking at him. 😍 Every day since has been hilarious and heartfelt, uplifting & empowering. Full of love & loss & laughs & a life well lived. I didn’t dream about getting married when I was a little kid because I never thought I’d be able to. But if I had, I never could’ve dreamt up someone as wonderful, funny, strong, kind, smart, supportive & silly as my amazing husband @drgarciamathews. Thank you for changing my life 4 years ago today. I love you so much. ❤️
My city girl. 🥰 Found wandering the streets in the desert nearly 10 years ago & rescued by a local shelter, my Audrey has grown into the absolute best (plus her ears get us great TV reception). Nothing fazes her – travel, city sounds, new people. She is perfection & has adapted so well to her first full-time winter on the East Coast. She has a few cute of sweaters, but can anyone recommend places to get more cute ones? She deserves to have a varied & robust wardrobe. ❤️

You guys, like I can’t even. I love her soooo much it hurts. 😍🥰😘 I want to learn how to speak Chihuahua just so I can tell her how amazing I think she is. My mom used to make spritz cookies during the holidays. She used her Nana’s old metal cookie gun thingy and we would decorate them together. They were always so ugly, but we didn’t care – it was just fun. I wish I would’ve asked for her recipe & saved that cookie gun when she passed away. The holidays make the memories come flooding back. I didn’t think I’d actually make any cookies, but I did (thanks to my Aunt Sandy who told me my mom just used the Betty Crocker recipe!). And you know what?
