Fran Drescher, president of SAG-AFTRA, announces strike authorization of the Hollywood actors union.
Leaders of the union voted Thursday to join screenwriters in the first joint strike in more than six decades, shutting down production across the entertainment industry after talks for a new contract with the studios and streaming services broke down.

Happy #blackhistorymonth. As this month comes to a close, I wanted to share one of my favorite places with you. I can’t say enough about @nmaahc. Such a powerful place. I could stay there for days soaking in the history and culture. I’m partially enraged but momentously inspired and awed by black people and our culture. We really are dynamic!
