I will forever sing the praises of @eliseloehnen one of the most brilliant feminist writers of our time.
First discovered her work on the @goop podcast where she’d ask insightful questions and have deep conversations with the world’s foremost wellness experts, spiritual gurus and forward thinkers.
My mind was truly blown when I read On Our Best Behavior: The Seven Deadly Sins and the Price We Pay to be Good.
It’s a gut-wrenching, highly-triggering read that holds the keys to our liberation and calls for our collective actions. I closed that book as a weepy, inspired mess and am now fortified and ready for action at a time that call us to be engaged.
I’m so grateful to be on Earth with you at the same time, Elise.
Your book broke me open and touched all the painful bits I’d carefully locked up and kept neatly tucked away – just like a good girl.
We’re not doing that anymore.
It’s the era of the wild feminine and we must messily find our voices until we finally achieve the balance and androgyny that our universe is calling us into.
I had been coming from a brunch with a colleague 10 years younger than me and was now looking at Elise like a glimpse into my not-so distant future. I’m a fellow journalist and aspire to publish my first book this year.
We’re all holograms at different waypoints in the scheme of life. We’re different. We’re the same. I’m humbled and in awe and I am pretty sure that’s the dream feeling I’ve been searching for. Raw yet grounded and unabashedly vulnerable.

This meeting was like a God wink that I’m on the right path.
