I used to create things to be presented to and consumed by the existing culture. Doing so felt like I could somehow hide from judgement. Like I could somehow earn a gold star.
What I’m trying to do now is to channel my truth.
In order to help change the existing culture.
I’m so inspired by all the humans currently on the path of birthing the new earth and a kinder humanity.
I see you.
I honor you.
Keep going.
I realized that from an early age, I learned to hide my truth. Because it did not make sense in the predominant narrative. It’s like I decided to go into hiding and learn the language of the world around me in order to stay safe.
But what I found out is that so much of this narrative is a lie. A prison, controlled by corporate interests and a dying story that says that you are broken and sinful. That you aren’t whole and holy and lovable exactly as you are.
And we’re constantly bombarded with messages that say if only you fix this or buy that, THEN we can accept you. And many of us hear that lie from our romantic partners as well (who are also victims of the insidious cultural melody of Not Good Enoughness that plays nonstop and seeps into every corner of our minds).
This is all painful.
So painful.
And exhausting.
We spend our precious creative energy running around trying to be or buy or do the right thing that will finally make it ok to just be us.
In this moment, I invite us to give ourselves permission to STOP.
Stop playing the game.
Breathe.
Let that shit go.
And start again.
Together we rise.✨
I used to create things to be presented to and consumed by the existing culture. Doing so felt like I could somehow hide from judgement. Like I could somehow earn a gold star.
