Barbara Niven Instagram – Merry Christmas from me and my family to you and yours. I have so many emotions at Christmas time. It’s hard not to feel the loss of people who are no longer here, but it is a blessing to be surrounded by family and friends that I adore. It’s about making new memories, yet not forgetting the old ones. It’s about being grateful for abundance and gifts, but even more so for the ability to give. And most of all it is about remembering what Christmas really means.
The holidays should be about compassion and empathy, knowing that so many are struggling now in this world. We who have much, must give much. We must find ways to spread light and love and kindness in big and small ways.
Please take a moment today and every day to pray for peace, and for a way to help manifest it. I believe that light can outcreate darkness, and I know that together we can create the change this world needs.
That is my wish and dream for all of us today and as we head into 2024. Love. Light. Laughter. And most of us, peace and happiness and safety for all beings on Earth.
