Tomorrow evening, on February 8th, Patagonia, in collaboration with local NGOs NASF, AEGIS, Icelandic Wildlife Fund, and VÁ félag um vernd fjarðar, will be hosting an event featuring films, discussions, and live music. Hosting the event will be Katrín Oddsdóttir, with Veiga Grétarsdóttir as the keynote speaker. Panel discussions will include Benedikta Guðrún Svavarsdóttir, Jón Kaldal, and Sigurður Jóhannesson. Patagonia’s newest film, A Salmon Nation, focusing on the impact of industrial fish farming in Iceland, will make its world premiere. The event will also include a live performance by GDRN and a DJ set by FM Belfast, to close out the night.
