This collection, and collaboration, really is a true representation of two forces coming together to create something both magical and usable in different projects. From plains to patterns, we feel we’ve created a collection that anyone can use in a design project. Click the link in our bio to discover Clarke and Clarke x Breegan Jane. @breeganjane
Ever heard the expression, “you gotta laugh to keep from crying?” Yeah, well, we moms have a little saying of our own: sometimes you have to sing before you lose it! 😂I know my #boymoms understand what that means. Check out this blooper reel where I explain to my videographer, @jondavolio, why I sing so much in my videos. 🎵🎶 . . . . 🎥: @jondavolio
My @clarke_clarke_interiors collection was designed with a wide variety of palettes in mind. While I truly believe this will be the year of bold colors, I will ALWAYS be a lover of neutrals! Prints like Duma and Manda are an ideal way to add a bit of sophisticated whimsy while keeping it neutral. If you’re wanting to step outside of the “solids” box and make your space pop without going too far outside your comfort zone, these are perfect. Check out the entire collection to craft the color combo that works for you! . . . @kravetinc @sanderson1860
Beautiful bathrooms don’t happen by accident, but a bit of thoughtful design can turn drab into fab! ▪️Update your color palette! Go with classic colors (black & white is always a win!) to get more longevity out of the space. ▪️Ditch those awkward built-in tubs for a chic freestanding one to add a bit of luxe! ▪️Don’t forget the decor! Gorgeous lighting fixtures, mirrors and hardware make a space feel effortlessly modern. ▪️STONE! When in doubt, go with stone! A wall, a shower stall or countertop with beautiful veining will connect you to nature and make your bathroom feel like a spa! Want more? Head to my site for more tips to see how you can schedule a virtual presentation to update your bathroom!
The great thing about using color and texture together is that they can complement and/or impact each other. The Xan print from my new wallpaper collaboration with @clarke_clarke_interiors is a great case in point. It’s a modern take on a seagrass wallpaper that not only adds a subtle boost of color but can also provide visual depth when used in interior spaces. These and other great prints in the line could be wonderful additions to your interior decor. Check out the entire collection today! . . . . @clarke_clarke_interiors @kravetinc @sanderson1860
Listen, if you’ve never attended @kbis_official, you are missing out! The Kitchen and Bath Industry Show was held in Las Vegas, Nevada, and every major retailer in the space was present and accounted for! I had a blast on my panel with @neolithofficial, and I still have stars in my eyes thinking about all the new appliances, furnishings and technology SO many companies debuted. It was wonderful to see so many new and old friends, and I look forward to the next one! #KBIS2024
“There’s only one thing more precious than our time, and that’s what we spend it on.” —Leo Christopher I love my job. Everything about it brings me joy. I really enjoy the work I do in Kenya with “my girls.” But no home design project or trip will ever take the place of the moments I get to create with my two sons. Whether they’re on the road with me or enjoying family time at home, I thoroughly enjoy getting to know my boys more with each conversation. They’re growing up and changing, internally and externally, by the day. I don’t want to miss a minute of it. Parents, how do you make intentional time for your little ones? I’d love to hear about your quality time in the comments.
Trends will come and go, but classic is forever! Want a fresh take on your existing bathroom? Think long term contentment before you commit to a design. This person had a particular style in mind, and while the end result was lovely, I’m not sure I’d agree with their description. So, my design savvy friends, you be the judge! Is this Moroccan? What say you? Either way, lovely upgrade! . . . . 🎥: @jondavolio
Parents who travel for work: do you relish in the moments you spend away from your kiddos, or do you think about them constantly while you’re gone? I’m always ready to get back to these two no matter how long I’m away. They truly are my favorite people, and we aren’t faking it for the ‘gram. We REALLY have a good time together! I think the trick is appreciating every phase your kids go through—the challenging ones AND the easy ones. I just got back from an amazing time at @kbis_official with @neolithofficial, and nothing made my heart more full than getting to kiss these faces goodnight! I hope you moms and dads get warm welcomes when you return from your trips too!
The problem with having unique home design plans is oftentimes coming up with ideas that may be *too* singular in vision. Case in point, I have such a neat idea for my boys’ playroom. The challenge is…finding someone to execute what I have in my mind EXACTLY as I want it. I explain more in today’s reel, but I’m confident a solution is on the horizon. Fingers crossed! . . . . 🎥: @jondavolio
We all love scrolling through the home interiors side of IG, noticing the impossibly perfect homes and how beautifully curated they seem to be. But, if you’re like me, you might have noticed that many of them, though lovely, look…well…the same! The fix? Adding bits of YOU back into your space. Patterns that speak to your heart, pieces that remind you of your favorite places, and elements from your passions and hobbies can all make a nice home personal and bespoke. I’ll give you more details in today’s blog! Link in bio! 🏠: @clarke_clarke_interiors @kravetinc @sanderson1860
Renovating a home can be a lot to handle if you’re not prepared, so here’s an insider tip: before you move ANYTHING, rent a trash/dumpster bin. You may think you won’t have enough to fill it, but trust me—you will. Today’s reel explains more. Thank me later. 😉😂 . . . . 🎥: @jondavolio
At our former house we enjoyed using our Farmstands to grow veggies. When I started designing my new beach house, I felt inspired to build a kitchen with less space for “stuff” and especially less processed foods. That sentiment has spilled over into my family’s interest in gardening! We have our own little garden bed that we water and care for regularly. Who knows where that might go in the future. Breegan’s bananas 🍌 and broccoli 🥦 coming soon? 🤔😉😂
I’m so eager to have my home finally together, but I’m more excited for my boys to experience their new spaces. I’ve commissioned a furniture designer to make custom desks for each of them that cater to their hobbies and passions. Not only will these pieces complement their rooms, but the desks will also be furniture they can take with them throughout their lives, wherever their passions take them. Do you own any legacy or heirloom furniture or decor? I’d love to hear about them in the comments! . . . . 🎥: @jondavolio
“Of all the paths you take in life, make sure a few of them are dirt.” – John Muir If you saw the reel from last weekend, you know we are a family that loves the great outdoors. Luckily, we live in sunny Southern California where the weather usually allows us to revel in sunshine pretty much year round. If I have one piece of advice for moms of younger kids with tons of energy, it’s to get as much fresh air as possible. Also, you’d be surprised at how well even adults sleep after they’ve spent a good amount of time outside! This photo was taken at one of our favorite places, @calamigosguestranch, which has abundant spaces to roam and explore. So, if you’re feeling a bit stagnant, get out and let Mother Nature inspire you!
Personalized interior design is such an ironic concept. On one hand, every individual has a particular touch that makes their brand unique to them and doesn’t look like anything or anyone else’s. On the other hand, when you see a staged space, most people cal tell it instantly because, well, it doesn’t have that personal feel. Take this space in the heart of a city, for instance. Everything looks great, but there are some telltale signs that let me know no one lives here yet. Can you tell? If this was your home, what would you do differently with the interior design? . . . . 🎥: @jondavolio
I was honored to be featured in Spark Magazine! You can check out a few of my spreads here. I talked about everything from my start in interior design (did you know I owned my own retail store as a teen?), to a bit of my TV hosting, and my lighting line with @savoy.house.lighting. Huge thank you to Spark!

If you follow my design career, you know I’m a huge fan of bringing nature inside with organic elements. If you know me personally, you know I adore the peacefulness that nature brings to us. And, if you know me as a mom, you know I’m always looking for fun ways to get my boys outside! We do a bit of everything, from surfing to gardening. It’s why I love living in a place with a milder climate year round! Parents, if you have energetic little ones, take this as your cue to get them outside! Even if you aren’t participating in some organized activity, trust me, kids will have fun just running around! Get some vitamin D from the sun and enjoy the fresh air. It’s good for every age!
Hey ladies, now that we’re officially well into 2024, how’s the year treating you so far? I ask because so many of us begin each year with high hopes and expectations that we set the standard impossibly high. If for some reason things have gotten tough and you haven’t met every single goal, please remember to be kind to yourself. Nothing happens overnight, and success isn’t usually linear. If you need a moment, take it. Then get back out there, because the world needs what you have.
What do you get when you mix fabrics and wallcoverings with creativity, color and a celebration of culture? You end up with a nonpareil collection that will add sophisticated brilliance to your home decor and interior! This vibrant leopard print, “Pokot”, is an ode to the African Savannah. It is stunning as a pillow cover, but it would be amazing as drapery, chair upholstery, and so much more. Can you envision this accent in your home? How would YOU use it? . . . . @clarke_clarke_interiors @kravetinc @sanderson1860
Light, whether natural or artificial, has the power to impact so much about the look and feel of a space. Bright or dim, the lighting treatment ushers in active, energetic vibes or a calm and relaxed aesthetic. The lighting in this DIYer’s home is mesmerizing, as the lighting mimics nature—and I’m all about that! What about you? Would you try this in your home? . . . . 🎥: @jondavolio
Some of the things I love most about my @clarke_clarke_interiors line (which can be found in @kravetinc locations everywhere) are all the prints and patterns depicting lush vegetation that can be found in many of my favorite places. I will always find a way to include a dose of nature in my designs, whether it be woods and stone, art or accent pieces like this throw pillow. Nature adds a bit of tranquility to any space, and who couldn’t use a bit more of that?
