I’m usually not one to write lengthy captions here but I wanted to make an exception on this really special day to me to reflect on this past year. This years lesson for me was about appreciation and confirmation. I am always heads down trying to accomplish so much that I forget sometimes to be thankful for all the blessings I already have. I want to thank God, my family, my boyfriend and my friends for being so solid and always showing up and accepting me for me. This year also confirmed to me that I am exactly who I believe I am which is someone who will not compromise their morals for anything in this world because I feel challenged everyday to do so in order to accomplish my goals in this world as a black woman but I know because I am so rooted in my morals that I am also slowly becoming the woman of my dreams in my own timing. I don’t compromise myself for no man, no show, no friend, no job- even if that means standing alone sometimes or only standing with a handful of people and for that I’m most proud. I’m happy to say the people apart of my journey today are all solid and I am so incredibly blessed by God to be here and I can’t wait to share more of my journey with you all because baby I’m just getting started! ❤️✨ New York, New York
