This smart, charming, thoughtful, seeker of wisdom and seeker of adventures, turns 23 today. (New Zealand Time). Milo, it’s impossible to put into words how proud I am of the beautiful man you’ve become. You walk this planet with grace and gratitude. With integrity and insight. With joy and compassion. I have to remind myself… I’m not an empty nester, I’m a bird launcher. And it is the most joyous thing to watch you fly. Happy Birthday ❤️
Still celebrating my birthday. Doing my favorite thing with some of my favorite people. These wonderful friends braved the torrential downpour last night and came for a Game Night. Which entailed running around my apartment in their socks, doing the silliest things, and looking absolutely ridiculous. I mean… It was heaven. We played Sculptionary, Running Charades, Puppeteer, and Taboo. I went to bed at 3 AM, and Im just getting up now. AND I lost an hour to daylight savings time, but it was worth all it.

I took my squad to see the stand-up comedian and political impressionist, Matt Friend at The Gramercy Theater. He is pretty freaking astonishing. On top of being utterly charming and hilarious, I don’t understand how one person can do so many impressions so perfectly. Howard Stern, Jeff Goldblum, Timothée, Chalamet, Paul Giamati, Rami Malek, Alan Alda and Jennifer Coolidge. Not to mention the back-and-forth banter on the golf course between Barack Obama and the other guy I refuse to mention. Matt Friend has rose to stardom with his uncanny impressions of a wide variety of political figures and pop culture icons. Please look him up on YouTube so you can check out his unbelievable talent. This kid is a superstar. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Bring your tissues because “The Notebook” is everything an epic love story should be. It’s thrilling, tender, turbulent, heartbreaking and it takes your breath away. For those of you who haven’t read the book or seen the movie, It’s a simple love story about two people from different worlds, who share a lifetime of love, despite the forces that threaten to pull them apart in a deeply moving portrait of the enduring power of love. The production is stunning, as are the actors, the music and the entire production team. I loved every moment of it. ❤️

It’s hard to believe that Lawrence Fishburne’s new play, “LIKE THEY DO IN THE MOVIES“ is a one- man show. I expected to see at least eight people come out and take a bow at the curtain call. His masterful, chameleon-like performance brings to life many of the colorful people he’s encountered along the road, and a handful of the most influential. Mr. Fishburne is at the top of his game. Deep, dark, charming, playful and incredibly honest and forthcoming about his complicated relationship with his mother. The audience becomes a witness to some of the deeper and darker narratives in his life and yet you sense that he is handling it better than any of us could. Graceful, fluid, dynamic and centered, Fishburn commands the stage while you marvel at his transformations and storytelling. You can’t help but fall in love with him. “Like They Do In The Movies” Runs at the Perelman Performing Arts Center at 1 World Trade Center, until March 31.
