FIRST LOOK: Ahead of the launch of our new domestic abuse campaign, ‘Facing It Together’, we have released an exclusive first look image. The campaign will launch on Tuesday 5th March on ITV1 and ITVX. Charlene, Judi, Sunetra and Frankie are supporting the campaign and stand shoulder to shoulder with their fellow panellists and friends, Denise, Olivia, Brenda and Kelle, all four of whom have personally experienced domestic abuse, as well as survivors to let them know they’re not alone ❤️ #loosewomen #facingittogether
The utterly brilliant @kreptplaydirty and his gorgeous daughter Nala came for a visit to @itvlondon today to talk about building his brand @nalasbabyuk and smashing all expectations. So proud of the business he and @sashaellese have built and continuing to build, and the far reaching impact they’ve had and will continue to have. News can be about many things, including celebrating the wins ❤️. (And Nala can come visit any time. Because my gosh… if there’s a kid that will make you want more, it’s this one 🥰)

… because I’ve been seething all day. So…
Let’s talk about female friendship for a hot sec. Arrived at @thelondonpalladium and saw @1judilove’s face on all the posters and cried… walked in and saw the sell-out crowd and shed a tear, saw my friend take to the stage as *THE FIRST* Black British Female comedian to headline the London Palladium, and my heart just burst with pride. The gang @angellicabell @brendaedwardsglobal @shaks_orig @tanisha.arts_ was there to cheer her on, scream her name, and get belly ache from all the jokes. That old adage that women don’t support women? It’s trash. Get yourself a good girl-gang and you can take over the world. My friend smashed it, and I’ll be floating on that cloud of awe and pride for quite some time. Love ya Judes xx

Mum (the first pic is my mum, not me!)… thanks for sending me the many women who stepped in to help me once you were gone. They’ve helped carry me through the myriad of stages of adulthood and motherhood. To my dad, who overnight has to become mum *and* dad, love you to the moon and back. To the many women, from family to friends, whose kindness I will remember and cherish forever, thank-you for keeping me safe and protected as I navigate the world without a mum. I hope you mothers have had a wonderful day in recognition of housing a human, birthing a human, and raising a human. But we must remember those mothers who’ve been thrown into situations they have no control over, where all they want is to keep their children safe in the face of fear, violence, death and destruction. If there’s a charity that aligns with the women you feel most connected to, please do donate a little something today. Because mothering without violence and destruction is a privilege.

I just don’t really know what to say about yesterday’s @loosewomen really. As I’m sure it was for many of you who watched, it was difficult to hear what my friends has been through as a result of domestic abuse. But that was secondary to how difficult it was for them – the domestic abuse survivors – who sat behind that desk yesterday and talked about what they went through, in front of an audience of strangers. There were a lot of details they couldn’t share, all of it grim, upsetting, and traumatic. The tears and fear of many of the women before the show was heartbreaking, but they still wanted to do the show because of the impact it could have on many. The reaction to the campaign when the original images were shared on Monday has been interesting. We had some incredibly emotional messages from men and women who are survivors, and those currently dealing with abuse. But we also had reactions from those who refused to believe *any* of the Loose Women could possibly be survivors of domestic abuse. Well some of them are. There is *no* “typical” look of someone who’s either facing or has faced domestic abuse Swipe 👉🏾 to see what our Facing Other Together campaign is all about. Finally, I love my crew anyway, but I’m so insanely proud of these women @denise_welch @kelle.bryan @brendaedwardsglobal @sophlmorg @oliviajade_attwood @therealjanetstreetporter for their honesty. I know how hard it was, but you may well have saved lives yesterday xx

Family night last night out to see “For Black Boys Who Have Considered Suicide When The Hue Gets Too Heavy” at The Garrick Theatre (@nimaxtheatres) I first saw it at the Royal Court, and even after all this time its themes still sit heavy on my heart. Exceptional scripting, superb directing, and incredible cast. Congrats, once again, to Ryan Calais Cameron for creating this. It’s still impacting audiences, and still creating conversations. Theatre at its best. So great to catch-up with so may friends after the show ❤️

If you remember where you come from, you’ll always appreciate where you’re at. We represent a small slice of the early to mid-noughties cohort of BBC Radio 1 Newsbeat and 1Xtra reporters, producers, and news presenters. And it was great to catch up with them last night at the Ultimate News Quiz. Back in the day, we broke down the news for a generation of young people… and weren’t always taken seriously within the Beeb for the way we could convey the news to those who didn’t naturally gravitate to anywhere else at the BBC. But now we are: Editor of Channel 5 News (Debbie Ramsay) Sky News Presenter (@mattbarbet) Foreign Correspondent, formally China (Robin Brant) BBC News Channel presenter (@rajiniv) ITV Presenter (me!) Sometimes others don’t recognise your worth, but what will always be important is that *you* know your worth and back yourself.
Our episode of @wilty.bbc is FINALLY on tonight… yay! So join me, @kimberleywalshofficial @willmellor76 @mcdonaldscomedy plus the lads @robbrydon @leemack52 and David Mitchell, tonight, 9pm, BBC1!
