Charlene White Instagram – I just don’t really know what to say about yesterday’s @loosewomen really. As I’m sure it was for many of you who watched, it was difficult to hear what my friends has been through as a result of domestic abuse.
But that was secondary to how difficult it was for them – the domestic abuse survivors – who sat behind that desk yesterday and talked about what they went through, in front of an audience of strangers.
There were a lot of details they couldn’t share, all of it grim, upsetting, and traumatic. The tears and fear of many of the women before the show was heartbreaking, but they still wanted to do the show because of the impact it could have on many.
The reaction to the campaign when the original images were shared on Monday has been interesting. We had some incredibly emotional messages from men and women who are survivors, and those currently dealing with abuse. But we also had reactions from those who refused to believe *any* of the Loose Women could possibly be survivors of domestic abuse.
Well some of them are.
