Happy 40th anniversary, @sundanceorg! The first time I went to Sundance was in 1995 and it was called the USA film festival. I showed a short film called “Greetings From Africa.” There I met filmmakers and programmers who paved the way for independent cinema in the 90s. Then, years later I had another eye-opening experience when I came back to Sundance with my second feature film “Stranger Inside” and the festival welcomed us with open arms. Each experience has been life-changing. Happy birthday, Sundance 🎂 @michaelstipe @sundanceorg
