Emily Calandrelli Instagram – #1 NYTimes Best Seller 😭
Emily Calandrelli Instagram – I desperately wish I could go back and tell her 🥺

5 years ago I had my very first book signing in New York City.

I was so excited and so nervous! They ordered stacks and stacks of books.

I walked in, sat at the table behind the books and waited. And waited. And waited. And save for a couple of friends who knew me from home – not a single person came. Not a single one.

I was so embarrassed. Embarrassed that I had assumed people would come. Embarrassed that I had wasted the bookstore’s time. Embarrassed that I was trying to be an author and seemingly failing at it.

But the world does not end when we fail.

Because today, 5 years later, I’m bopping from city to city – signing books for hours on end, meeting hundreds of kids (little scientists!) at each and every stop.

Grateful to my publisher, to my team and most importantly to all of YOU for making this tour a reality!

Sold out crowd in SEATTLE tonight – see you soon!
