Helle Thorning-Schmidt Instagram – On the Today programme on @bbcnews to talk about our latest decision from the Meta Oversight Board @oversightboard where we take final decisions on content on Meta platforms. We looked at an altered video and found that Meta should tighten their policies. It should be technology agnostic, it should cover both audio and video, it should label all altered content and since not all altered content is harmful it should only be removed if it’s causing real life harm.
