Iman Esmail Instagram – #Ad Growing up, I never thought I could turn my dreams into a career. Without dance in my life, I would not be the person I am today. So honored to be partnering up with @ToyotaUSA to share my story about how I turned my one day into my day one!
It all began in my family living room while watching Bollywood movies. My sister and I would try to mimic each iconic dance number by mirroring the movement on screen. I didn’t take my first dance class until I was 11 years old! Fast forward – I graduated with a degree in Psychology and became a recruiter. Something was missing and I could feel it. After college, I began taking more dance classes and started to feel more at home. In 2020, I taught my very first dance workshop in Los Angeles (Ramta Jogi). From there, there was no looking back. Dance has allowed me to evolve into my true self. It has created a space for me to spread light, love, and awareness to the community at large. I dance because it brings my soul joy! No matter how difficult or farfetched your dreams may seem, you CAN do it!
