You laid down the foundation and I stoned this dress in 3 days the amount of detail and texture that was put into this look are the things that I live for my girl Cali is always nervous when I come up with an idea, but she always delivers. Whew those boas I worked my butt off to buy those 8 20ply boas iykyk 💰 but it’s the things I live for.

It’s hard put into words how much of a pleasure it was to walk with you NO one and I mean NO one pushed me into ballroom like you have years and years you encouraged me to walk, you saw for me! Our bonding journey started with us going through with braces having extractions done 🦷 😬 trusting the painful process lol. You are not just a pretty face you’re awful, generous, meticulous, and just overall good energy. This was a nine month journey, and I hope we get to do it again Ballroom or pageantry MUGLERxTISCI #iwantit

This picture best describes who JAZELL is, she’s a risk taker! Everyone was given the same opportunity to choose their placement on the staircase. Not one time did I worry about how I was going to get down. My dress is very heavy but I allowed my gut and instinct to lead the way. I respectfully reigned all year as Miss Sweetheart giving myself only TWO WEEKS to prepare for this contest. The entire time I kept hearing a whisper saying “be not dismayed”. I am PREPARED. Being a part of the Miss Black America division means that I get a chance to join a legacy with so many people that I love and admire. Often times I’ve contemplated on retiring from pageantry however ballroom has given me a new fire to be creative and push boundaries. You the people have made it clear that I still have a place in the industry so tonight be prepared to experience the rebirth of Jazell Royale Tisci! In my 16 years of competing, this is the most support I’ve ever received. If given the opportunity to be Miss Black America 2024-2025, I’m going to show you better than I can tell all year! Be prepared to experience Thee Experience!

Wow this came as a memory today. What a full circle moment. Here is my first step up pageant Miss Long star universe held In Houston (bartini’s) I was the reigning, Miss Black America newcomer, and I went on to get second runner up at Black universe, and won so many titles this year.
