Hello there! We’re focusing on one tiny corner of the world today. Pastor and I are reaching out to you with an experiment that will support PATH’s mission to end homelessness. Our goal is modest and will contribute to the campaign’s larger goal of $2M, which will move 400 more California families & individuals home this holiday season.
Giving feels good. Please help us give the gift of home for the holidays. 🌺

UPDATE: Thank you to all who gave! Together, we exceeded the goal and my heart couldn’t be happier. Please keep the movement alive by visiting www.epath.org 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Hello! Do you love storytelling? Do you love seeing kids’ eyes light up when they share a great idea? Do you love the way Jackson Heights’ own Mr. Randy Watson sings, “I believe the children are our future?” That last one doesn’t relate, but I’d love to know lol! As an @826la volunteer, I’m thrilled to help out with this year’s gala. They are a literacy-focused organization that does such wonderful work with schools around the city — encouraging children to write and become authors (they even publish the work of some of the schools they partner with). They host weekly Choose Your Own Adventure workshops where elementary kids create their own illustrated CYOA books to take home (that’s my favorite program to volunteer with); and, amongst many other things, they help high school students develop personal essays for the college admissions process. They’re a great organization that is always looking for more volunteers. I invite you to check them out and get inspired 🤗🌟🥰

Joyful tears, rain, rivers and sea. I want to believe they were tiny little baptisms every day. Feeding elephants, talking to monks (thank you Phra Jan), feeling the warm, sacred air of the temples rush through our spirits. Tiny little baptisms. Little blessings. Little gems in the oceans of people, land, water and conversations. (We think of you, Yui!) So much water. Toni Morrison’s words come to me: “All water has perfect memory and is forever trying to get back to where it was.” Kop khun kha. Thailand
