Jo Frost Instagram – Let us all agree that EVERY child needs a parent who will do morally right by them. Learn to become more attuned and connected. Uphold boundaries but also deliver on their word. Build trust with following through and lovingly develop more patience to understand them better and so much more. GP was a rebrand name that i believe has back fired on methods I’ve been teaching publicly for over 2 decades and might I add many other professionals too. So many parents come to my private practice looking to untangle and course correct from them saying they have been gentle parenting. Parents need to know the difference with Parenting styles Authoritative is assertive behavior that fosters two way respectful loving relationships, with consequences…yes children do need to learn accountability. Authoritarian is strict one way street,iron hand,no relationship with what parents today call punishment…not a style I’ve ever seen fit to raise a child. Let’s not use these 2 words Gentle Parenting to cause a family war between parents needing to feel right, let’s support eachother, it’s hard enough as it is out here, we need eachothers support as compassionate neighbors,community, spirit to uplift eachother. Your child is yours but all children are ours together. They needs us adults more now than ever in this new tech era.
