Jonita’s musical journey began by her recording cover songs in her Brampton bedroom that she posted to YouTube. The videos quickly went viral and led to a number of opportunities for her to perform. Her rise to fame came after being featured in the soundtrack for the Bollywood film Chennai Express (which starred Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone).
