The top ten states with the highest rates of maternal mortality have all passed abortion bans.
Over the past three years, President Biden and I have:
Created more than 14 million new jobs.
Increased wages for tens of millions of Americans.
Lowered costs for families.
We have more work to do, but it’s clear: America’s economy is strong and getting stronger.
It’s that simple.
I am proud to join @DrBiden to launch Women for Biden-Harris.
When women organize, we get the job done—exactly what we’ll do in November.

This decision is outrageous.
It was a joy to make a surprise stop by @dellasoulrecords in Michigan and look at their impressive vinyl collection.
I’m always willing to teach the press about George Clinton and Bootsy Collins.
In Alabama, some couples who want to start a family are now being deprived of access to IVF.
It’s outrageous.
No matter what Donald Trump says about IVF today, don’t get distracted from the facts.
What’s happening in Alabama is a direct result of Donald Trump’s Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade.
He is the architect of this health care crisis.
Doug and I filled out our ballots for the California presidential primary on March 5.
There is so much at stake in this election—but I know we are up to the challenge.

No matter where they live, every person in America should have access to clean water.
President Biden and I are dedicating $5.8 billion in federal dollars to help remove lead pipes and fund clean water projects across the country.
We gave Fran a call to express our gratitude for all her support in making this campaign possible.
Black unemployment is at a record low.
President @JoeBiden and I are investing in a future where everyone can thrive.
Congressman John Lewis was an American hero—a giant whose shoulders upon which we stand.
Today, on what would have been his 84th birthday, we honor him by continuing his fight to protect and strengthen our democracy.
As we wrap up Black History Month, let’s continue to honor and celebrate our history—the history of Black excellence and leadership, culture and creativity, resilience and resistance.
We celebrate Black history as America’s history, not just this month but every month.
Senate Republicans blocked a bill to protect access to IVF in all 50 states.
We are bringing manufacturing back to America.
Since Roe v. Wade was overturned, abortion has been banned in states across the country—with no exception for even rape or incest.
It’s immoral.
President @JoeBiden and I will not stop until we restore the protections of Roe into federal law.
All children in America deserve to be safe from gun violence.
Congress must have the courage to act and pass commonsense gun safety laws, including an assault weapons ban.
This election is a fight for our most fundamental freedoms. These primary results make clear the people of Michigan are ready for this fight.
Michigan has been a national model in proving that when freedom is on the ballot, freedom wins. In 2022, the voters of Michigan gave Democrats a governing trifecta, and that, in turn, has produced milestone legislation in the state to address voting rights, gun violence and reproductive rights.
As Michigan did in 2022, so must America do this year. We need a Democratic House of Representatives, Senate, and White House. Americans will not stand by while extremists try to take away the freedoms we hold dear—the freedom to vote, the freedom to live safe from gun violence, the freedom of a woman to make decisions about her own body.
Together, we will continue to fight back. And together, we will win.
Across our nation, up to 10 million homes and thousands of schools are receiving water through toxic lead pipes.
We are taking action to deliver clean drinking water for everyone by removing every lead pipe in America.
The polls are open in Michigan until 8pm local time.
Your vote is key to continuing our progress. Go to the link in my bio to find your polling location.
Millions of women in America, in particular in low-income communities, do not have access to adequate postpartum care.
We called on states to extend Medicaid coverage for postpartum care from 2 to 12 months.
We started with 3 states—now, 44 states have answered the call.
When reproductive freedom was on the ballot, Michiganders voted for freedom.
I’m proud to be in the collective fight to secure the American people’s rights and freedoms alongside Governor @gewhitmer, Senator @debbiestabenow, Congresswoman @scholten4congress, and more.
When we win Democratic majorities in Congress, President Biden will sign the following into law:
A bill that reinstates the protections of Roe v. Wade
An assault weapons ban
The George Floyd Justice in Policing Act
The John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act and Freedom to Vote Act
And more. Elections matter.
