Throughout the pandemic they have continued to operate their hygiene station, so that the residents of Skid Row can have access to running water, soap and laundry facilities; their housing case managers have continued to move people into housing, conduct home visits and provide food, supplies, and emergency support and their syringe exchange has remained open 7 days a week. Dear Friends,
Everything has changed but it’s business as usual at HHCLA.
We are open and providing essential services for people experiencing homelessness.
The ReFresh Spot is open 24/7 and provides access to hand-washing, showers, restrooms, and laundry facilities.
Our outreach workers provide services on the street and in encampments. Our housing case managers are moving people into housing, doing home visits, providing food, supplies, and emergency support.
Our CENS substance use assessors continue to conduct screenings and referrals.
Our behavioral health team provides substance use treatment.
Our syringe exchange is open 7 days/week from 8am-4pm and saves lives by providing overdose prevention/naloxone, safer injection supplies and medical detox.
