This is the moment a group of healthcare workers blocked the cars of anti-lockdown protesters in Denver, Colorado, who want coronavirus restrictions to be lifted.
One woman protester was seen shouting; “Land of the free. Go to China if you want communism” in front of a healthcare worker in scrubs on a pedestrian crossing.
Colorado has reported 9,730 Covid-19 cases and 420 deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University. The state’s governor Jared Polis has announced that the lockdown will remain until 26 April.
The number of anti-lockdown protests across the US are increasing, with demonstrators arguing they are having an impact on their livelihoods and personal freedoms.
