Spring has arrived ☀️ When life brings us to our knees, new seasons seem to come whether we’re ready or not. Spring came suddenly for me, and I felt really uneasy moving forward, but I know we have to put one foot in front of the other.
Here are a few pics of our year so far. The last picture is a positive pregnancy test. Sadly, we miscarried this pregnancy— we went from being very surprised to shocked. It goes without saying, you truly never know what someone is going through, especially on social media. I’m here to tell you that you’re not alone. 🙏🏼🤍 With profound sadness, comes extraordinary strength… and you have the strength within to come out on the other side.
We took some time, and we paused all efforts of the podcast and @ksl.thelabel. My past self would have pushed through and distracted myself with work. I would have drowned my feelings with keeping busy and doing what I thought was expected of me. Now, with two daughters at home, it’s too much to do it all. Time is spent raising humans and finding small pockets of time to heal. We were not expecting this pregnancy, so our emotions have been all over the place. From shock, to sadness, asking myself ‘what ifs’, and wondering who they were. While my body and hormones are returning to my ‘normal,’ my heart still feels confused and torn. And oddly, these feelings have only deepened as time has passed with this loss. The comfort I find is knowing all these angels have each other. ☁️
We will share more on the podcast soon; we’ve just been taking our time. I want to say thank you for always being there through the tough stuff. I appreciate you for being here. I feel like the older I get, the more precious each day and each connection is. We’re so blessed to be here and to have one another.
We’re all going through something— whatever it is you’re experiencing, I want you to know that my heart is with you. Seasons change and life moves forward whether we’re ready or not, but it doesn’t mean we can’t give ourselves permission to pause. You will get through this. You will heal. You will feel joy again… I promise.
Sending a Prayer to each and every one of you.🪽 With all my heart, Katrina

Thank you so much for joining today’s live workout 🤍 It felt amazing to train, sweat and connect with all of you. Here’s the replay!
What day and time would you want to train next week? Let me know in the comments!
I hope you have a beautiful weekend! Sending you my love. Thanks again for joining 🙏🏼 I hope you had a great workout!
Brian and I have vowed to embark on a preventive-health journey together. We’ve seen our share of health challenges with friends, family, and each other, so we made it our goal to be proactive and make all the doctor appointments this year. We’re booking everything from dermatologist skin checks to PC check-ups, blood tests, colonoscopies, dentist appointments, a mammogram, OB appointment, and preventative scans. We chose @prenuvo for our full-body scans. We heard about their services through friends!
@Prenuvo is a transformative healthcare company that uses advanced MRI to perform preventive scans. Their mission is to raise awareness about their services to help more families receive affordable scans at scale. 🙏🏼 They are also working toward getting Prenuvo covered by health insurance🤞🏼. I was curious, so I looked it up—only 3.5% of all money spent in the U.S. healthcare system goes toward preventive care. If you have family history, scans like this should absolutely be covered.
Prenuvo can detect solid cancerous tumors at stage 1 and around 500 other conditions, including aneurysms, spine herniations, musculoskeletal conditions, and fatty liver disease. Prenuvo does not use radiation or contrast, making it a safe, proactive screening tool.
I was super nervous going in. I had a Head MRI years ago, and it brought back a lot of feelings of anxiety, but their team was so kind and patient. It took less than an hour, and I watched a cooking show—although I don’t recommend watching a show about food since you can’t eat 4 hours prior. However, you can choose anything on Netflix 😅🙈.
If you’d like to explore their services, they’ve provided a link with a $300 discount.
Go to prenuvo.com/KATRINA 🤍
Thank you, @prenuvo for your #partnership! I’m so grateful for what you do!
Here are my top 12 healthy habit goals for this spring. I’d love to hear some of yours below! I think my biggest struggle is having time, but I think with less scrolling and practicing more mindfulness, we can achieve most of these almost every day!
1. I get more jitters with coffee, so I’ve been trying to incorporate matcha lattes.
2. I tend to rush into my workouts, so I’m focused on stretching for 5 minutes while I warm up.
3. There’s no denying that strength training is the absolute best for our muscles, bone health, and longevity. I’m focused on strength training 3x a week including a lot of single leg exercises for balance! Plus tons of core and pelvic floor exercises.
4. It’s hard to remember supplements with a busy schedule (especially chasing after 2 kids!) so I’m really focused on being consistent with my supplements and morning smoothies. I can feel the difference if I stop, so I’m really focused on staying consistent.
5. Journaling is such an amazing practice. Set intentions for your day, give thanks to all your blessings, and share what you want to work toward. My new goal is to do this in front of a window or in direct sunlight for vitamin D, increased serotonin, and improved sleep quality.
6. We recently swapped out all of our plastic water bottles, Tupperware and food containers for glass. We started a water delivery which is actually saving us money and it’s better for our health and Mother Nature. 🌱
7. Deep breathing- we can go all day without taking a deep breath. I’ve been taking at least 60 seconds of deep breaths to help with stress, blood pressure, and feelings of anxiousness.
8. Positive self-talk… this is huge. When something comes up (self-doubt, insecurities) it’s important to remember that you are just one person living this human experience. We all make mistakes, we can all feel deeply, and we all feel down sometimes. Give yourself grace and know that you are worthy of happiness, self-forgiveness, compassion and kindness.🤍🙏🏼

The never-ending DIY kitchen transformation is finally wrapped! 😅 ⚒️ I think initially we thought it would be fun to do this ourselves… and to save cost, but it truly took a long time. I think Isabelle is also trained and equipped to tile if anyone wants a new backsplash!
The final piece to the kitchen was the stove. We needed an electric one, so I chose @ilveranges
Let me know if you have any questions about details! I also shared a post on LiveBeautifully.com with links to everything 🤍

Never did I think I would live across the country from my parents — but we make it work. 🙏🏼 A lot of you have asked me advice about long distance with family… here are some things that we do that have worked for us.
– FaceTime as much as possible!
– Plan trips and look up flight deals way ahead of time
– Do your best to take time off work when you visit so you can be 100% present during the time you do have.
– Explore new places together and make plans for fun experiences
– Be open to change and creating new traditions
– Lastly, we share a digital frame together. We add pics every week— it’s so nice to glance over and see something new. I probably look at our frame over 20 times a day. It’s the first thing I see when I make coffee in the morning and it’s the last thing I see before going to bed. The girls love looking at the photos too! My new goal is to start making physical family photo albums.
If you have any tips to stay close to family that is long distance, please share below ☺️
I can’t wait to workout with you again tomorrow! Join me right here on Instagram @katrinascott at 9:00am PT 🏋🏼♀️ We’re doing a 40-minute Total Body Sculpt Workout together. Let me know any requests or modifications you may need below!
You’ll need a pair of dumbbells (if you have them) & a water. See you on your mat!
