This is about systemic change and setting precedents that protect the rights and value the humanity of workers in every industry. Neither side gets everything they want in any negotiation, but we have learned the hard way that over a long enough timeline, some compromises do far more harm than good. I’m proud of my guild for standing strong on issues critical to the everyday survival of the vast majority of its members, and those that protect us all in the long term.
