30 years ago we were lucky enough to film the movie version of this iconic book that meant so much to the Asian community.
@amytanwriter ‘s beautiful book was one of the first to share Asian stories, and became a huge best seller. I will always cherish the experience I had being part of the film, (it remains one of the highlights of my life and career) and the decades long friendships I made.
Last weekend, my husband and I hosted a dinner ( he did ALL the cooking!) to celebrate the Holidays. I just love how all of our husbands get along so well!
