Lucinda Williams Instagram – Whew! 2023 has been a blast. We rang in my 70th birthday playing a show in Belfast and celebrated with a surprise party back in the states with my friends.

Stories From a Rock N Roll Heart came out this summer ❤️🔥 and I am overwhelmed with the outpouring of love it’s been receiving.
We toured with our new friends @bigthiefmusic and had a blast when we got to share the stage
Forbes included me in their 50 over 50 😅
Played guitar on stage at @theryman for the first time since my stroke in 2020 🙌🎸
Car Wheels hit its 25th anniversary and we had a great time at the tribute at @thebasementeast
And this was the year we introduced our new concert formatting for “Don’t Tell Anybody the Secrets” tour, where we incorporate more storytelling and visuals along with the songs.
All in all, 2023 was an exciting year full of rock n roll throughout Australia, Mexico, Europe (twice) and all around the United States adding up to 200 days on the road. Watch out, 2024… we’re coming for you 😉 | Posted on 02/Jan/2024 03:34:25
