“Stopping is the basic practice of meditation. You stop running. You stop struggling. You allow yourself to rest, to heal, to calm.” – Thich Nhat Hanh
We’re all so busy. But you must make an effort to take time for yourself. It will make you a better person to everyone you encounter, especially yourself.

Watch the surprise Tilly has for @MaggieQ on their hike ❤️ Special thanks to @shirascottastrof & @theanimalrescuemission for setting them up!
I’m convinced our bodies are made to move. Being so sedentary is a new (and scary, honestly) thing! On days when I don’t get out on a hike with the dogs or do some kind of quick workout, I can always feel a difference.
So, here’s a bodyweight circuit I did during the midst of a busy day. I shut my laptop, hustle outside, and take 20 minutes to reconnect all my body parts to my brain. The next task I jump to after these little sessions like this one is always the most creative or productive part of my day. (ps – the one-arm body weight rows are tougher than you think!)
1. 12 tricep dips
2. 12 one arm body weight row, right arm
3. 12 one arm body weight row, left arm
4. 12 toe touch crunches
Rest 1 minute, repeat 3x total

If you get to the gym and are feeling lost here is a quick dumbbell workout for arm strength and toning. Pair this with a stretch, 10-20 minutes of cardio, and you’re set in sweat.
Three reasons to strength train for women:
Bone Density: As women age, they become more susceptible to osteoporosis. Weight-bearing exercises help improve bone density and reduce the risk of fractures as we age.
Metabolism Boost: Metabolism tends to slow down with age. Increasing muscle mass through strength training can help women maintain a healthier weight throughout their lives.
Joint Health and Mobility: Strength training can enhance joint stability and reduce the risk of arthritis. Improved muscle strength also aids in maintaining better posture and balance, contributing to overall mobility and reducing the likelihood of injuries.

Heavy metals exposure can come from contaminated food or water, environmental pollution, and even consumer products like makeup. Having these heavy metals in your body can lead to symptoms resembling brain fog, like fatigue, sluggishness, and difficulty with cognitive tasks. If you’re maybe feeling this way, then you need to look into green algae aka Chlorella! Chlorella can help you detox heavy metals from your body and may help alleviate symptoms of brain fog. So, for those who haven’t heard of Chlorella or maybe you’ve heard of it, but didn’t know what it was, here’s my opinion! Always check with your doctor if you have any questions or are unsure about something!
