Home Actress Mayim Bialik HD Instagram Photos and Wallpapers March 2024 Mayim Bialik Instagram - Here it is.....my final update of my meditation experience using @danharris’ 10% Happier app, Days 7 & 8! Welp, I made it through my first week of meditation. And I’m pleased to report that it’s not as painful as I had built it up to be in my mind! Actually, this is the first day all week that I only meditated once and didn’t go back for seconds. I guess there’s something to all the research that meditating twice per day yields the best benefits. Day 7 was a harder day for me - I had a lot of sadness come up, which was strange, and then I did a meditation specifically for cultivating self-compassion, which was kind of hard but good hard. It seems like I’m learning something about pacing. I think that something is physiologically happening when I’m introducing these pauses that naturally lower my heart rate and blood pressure. I’ve noticed my desire for the quietness that happens when I meditate is louder than my desire to be pulled away by all the distractions that happen when one meditates. I’m really grateful that I talked to Dan Harris - I felt so moved by his book 10% HAPPIER, and his app has genuinely taught me how to actually meditate. So I’ve decided I’m going stick with the daily meditations, and maybe it’ll inspire others to do the same. It’s certainly cheaper than therapy and less problematic than self-medicating with other things. I’m going on DAY 41 and 725 minutes of meditating with the app as we finish. Thanks very much for tuning in to see my progress. I think I’ll keep it going. 🙏

Mayim Bialik Instagram – Do you think God feels pestered by humanity?

Psychedelics 🍄, Making a Deal with God 🙏, the Unity of Music 🎵, Wilderness Therapy 🏕️, Untying Identity from Physical Appearance….this episode has it all! ✨

Dive deep into the soul-stirring journey of renowned musician Matisyahu, where music and mysticism collide in an unforgettable revelation.

We explore Matisyahu’s (@matisyahu) self-diagnosed learning disabilities, his life as “the last hippie”, and the spiritual awakening that led him from dropping out of high school to become a Dead Head and follow Phish on tour, to a stint in rehab and an empowering experience in a wilderness therapeutic program.

This is a RAW & REVEALING account of how psychedelic experiences, spirituality, and music have intertwined to shape his path from a troubled youth to a reggae music sensation!

Matisyahu also opens up about his move toward becoming very religious in his Jewish faith – including growing an extremely recognizable beard and studying at the yeshiva – the intersectionality between reggae and Judaism, the underground healer who saved his life, and the ebbs and flows of his relationship with religion….PLUS where he’s currently at with it now.

From pairing psychedelic drugs with spirituality and music at an early age – leading to a deep calling to dedicate his life to God and his music career – to the pressures of fame driving him to shave his iconic beard….
