A few of the moments that made 2023 so memorable. Can’t wait to see what 2024 brings!

Hope everyone got some memorable photos during the holidays…you never know when they’ll come back around 🤣
Happy Birthday, Nayel! It was an absolute joy watching you become a father this past year, and I can’t wait to see what this next year has in store for you! ❤️
I used to struggle with perfectionism, and it’s something I’ve worked hard to overcome. I recently talked to Alexa Oh from @timeforkids about my advice for young people who may be struggling with it themselves.
It’s hard to believe it’s been almost a year since my sweet granddaughter Leila was born 🥰
Becoming “Nonna” has made me reflect on the wonderful example my own parents set for how to be an engaged and loving grandparent. I hope I can be as great of a grandparent to Leila as my parents are to my kids. So thankful for them both!
In honor of Women’s History Month, I recently sat down with three incredible leaders in media and entertainment — @tilanej, @amyaniobi, and @carolinagroppa — to talk about their efforts to tell more diverse stories, use their art to drive change, and help more women rise to positions of power within the industry. I hope you enjoy their perspectives as much I did. Watch the full conversation at the link in my bio.
I haven’t stopped thinking about “Origin” since I saw it. @ava, you should be so proud of what you created, how you created it, and what it means to all of us who have walked away from the theater grappling with the ideas and injustices it explores. Congratulations to you and the @arraynow team on such a moving and important film.
Christmas is a beautiful reminder of what matters most: spending time with the people you love—and having lots of fun while you’re at it. My brothers and I understood that well 😉
Merry Christmas to all who celebrate!
Happy birthday, @michelleobama! One of my highlights of 2023 was getting to spend time with you and Amal in Malawi and South Africa.
Thank you for the amazing work you do to improve the lives of women and girls—and of course, for giving the best hugs 😊
@melindafrenchgates speaks with @drjashton on the future of women’s health.
French Gates discussed tools like the single dose HPV vaccine and AI-assisted ultrasounds, which could potentially save as many as 4 million lives each year.

One important way to support women and girls is investing in their economic power. In honor of #iwd2024, I asked Nobel Prize winning economist Dr. Claudia Goldin about how economic power changes women’s lives. Watch the full video of our conversation at the link in my bio.
I’m so excited for the third title from Moment of Lift Books: Dear Black Girls by A’ja Wilson (@aja22wilson) 💌
It’s wise, funny, and relatable—and I think everyone can learn something from A’ja’s story. Read more about it at the link in my bio.
It’s true what they say: The days go slow, and the years go fast. It feels like some of these photos were just taken yesterday. I hope your holidays are full of memorable moments with the people you love 💝
Dear Black Girls by A’ja Wilson is the kind of book you’ll revisit for advice and inspiration again and again ✨ Here’s why.
I loved talking with economist and data whisperer @profemilyoster about our many shared interests—including maternal health, women’s contributions to medicine and economics, and using data to improve women’s lives. Check out our full conversation at the link in my bio.
