Nancy Isime Instagram – On Sunday the 3rd of March, I received the Nollywood Trailblazer Award at the Silverbird Man Of The Year Awards. This is a huge deal to me as @silverbirdtv is a station I grew up watching and respect SO much, to think years later I’ll be recognized by them as a woman blazing the trail in my Industry is beyond humbling. Nollywood is SO dear to my heart. This industry welcomed me, blessed me with incredible opportunities to enable me make a living for myself, gave me some of my amazing friends, mentors & Big Uncles & Aunties. Best part? This Industry gave me a chance to express myself creatively, spread my wings and raise myself an Army of people who Love, Support and cheer me on. I’m Proud to be a Nollywood Actor and I’m even more Proud to be a Nigerian making her mark and doing her part to put my country on the Global Map. To the women who have blazed the trail before me, you inspire me and I cannot thank you enough for the confidence boost. To the future Trailblazers, Impossible is nothing! You gat this!
