ഇടക്കൊരു ദുരനുഭവം ഉണ്ടായ ശേഷം പഴയപോലെ കുട്ടികളെ എടുത്ത് കൊഞ്ചിക്കാറില്ലായിരുന്നു.. എന്റെ തന്നെ കുടുംബത്തിലെ കുട്ടിയായിരുന്നു , പുറത്തുവളർന്നതുകൊണ്ട് അവളുടെവർത്തമാനം ഇംഗ്ലീഷും മലയാളവും കുഴകുഴഞ്ഞു കേൾക്കാൻ നല്ല രസമായിരുന്നു .. അവൾക്കെന്നെ ഇഷ്ടമായി ഞങ്ങൾ കുറെ കുശലങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞു.. പോരുന്നനേരം അവൾക്കൊരു ഉമ്മ കൊടുത്തു കവിളിലും നെറ്റിയിലും ചുണ്ടിലും , ക്ഷുഭിതയായ അവളുടെ അമ്മ , Din I tell you not to kiss like this with strangers ? എന്ന് കുട്ടിയോട് , ഒരു നിമിഷം ഞാൻ സ്തബ്ദയായിപ്പോയി , അവളുടെ അച്ഛനും ഞാനും ഒരു വീട്ടിൽ ഉണ്ടും ഉറങ്ങിയും വളർന്നവരാണ് , രക്തബന്ധം ഉള്ളവരാണ് .. എന്റെ കണ്ണുകൾ നിറഞ്ഞു ഒന്നും പറയാതെ വിടവാങ്ങി , അതിന് ശേഷം കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളോടുള്ള അമിതസ്നേഹപ്രകടനത്തിനൊരു ഇളവ് വരുത്തി , പക്ഷേ ഇവൾ എന്നെ വശീകരിച്ചു താജ് മെഹലോളം തന്നെ ..
