Voy!, a project very close to my heart written and directed by the brilliant Omar Hilal in his cinematic debut, and I’m extremely proud that it has been chosen to represent Egypt at the Oscars this year. It is a great honor to be awarded alongside Egyptian, Arab, Hollywood, sports, music and fashion greats such as Adel Imam and Anthony Hopkins. Congratulations to all awardees and to the team behind Joy Awards and Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority for this extraordinary night and for bringing Arabia closer to international audiences.
