Today marks the beginning of the Brain Tumour Awareness Month with @thebraintumourcharity highlighting the desperate need for further investment into research & the need for a National Brain Tumour Strategy. Yesterday 34 of us stood together in the pouring rain in Parliament Square Gardens to honour the 34 individuals diagnosed with a brain tumour every single day. More people under the age of 40 (inc children) die of a brain tumour than any other cancer. A shocking fact.
