Paola Velez Instagram – As a pastry chef my favorite thing to make is soft serve. Making my own bases has been something I’ve loved tinkering with. Soft serve machines are annoying and built on the 13th floor of purgatory lol but I still love them.
For the most part, most of my SS were vegan bases with a bounty of fruits. Occasionally I’d venture into the world of lactose cause creamy things are god tier lol. There’s so many combinations and things that I haven’t even wrapped my taste buds around yet. I dream of a day that I can hear the stupid shake of a soft serve machine.
(Oh and McDonalds isn’t lying when they say their machine is broken, haha those things are like a vintage car- a lot of TLC goes into it.)
