That’s how in 2019-2020 I got 1 million followers from scratch and now I wanna go back to active social media growth ⠀ Why do I need it? ⠀ The more followers you have the easier it is to get attention to your projects and businesses. This year I launch my underwear line, open a restaurant and my first movies come out. My audience will be using my services ⠀ What’s steps is my team taking so we can grow my account from 1.3 million followers to 2 mil? ⠀ 1. I’ll buy ads with gossips about myself in instagram accounts with hate content about celebrities Hate for sure gives a lot of attention so people who see it will be going to my acc to confirm what they’ve heard about me and will be seeing the opposite and become loyal audience+ my name will be constantly be mentioned along names of big celebs also work for my personal brand ⠀ 2. I’ll change my tiktok strategy and repurpose videos I upload there on reels, YouTube shorts and Pinterest My tiktok right now is a bit hard for the platform: I try to give people useful info but people come to the app to relax and have fun. Polina Pushkareva Instagram – The film industry realities, or Why talent ≠ success in the movie industry Being for several years in the film industry, I got to know it both as an actor and as a producer. And here are the realities. When you come to audition, you consider the most important thing is to get into the character and give your 100%. And only when I became a producer, I realized by what criteria actors are actually chosen. Now I may destroy the hopes of novice actors and people who have no connections in the film industry. But talent is not your trump card at all. Who do you think will be chosen? A good actor that no one knows about, or a good actor with a certain level of social media popularity and a certain number of followers? Yeah, you are right, the second one. Just because the movie industry is a business, and for any producer the financial success of the film is what matters. It doesn’t mean that only influencers with a million audience will be invited to projects. No. But if there is a choice, then it will be made in favor of the person who will bring more people (read: money) to the cinema. Sad but true. That is the reason why the audience on socials for actors is not just fans to amuse their ego. This is a valuable asset that increases their chances of success in the industry.
