My spoiler-free review for t#DunePartTwo :-
First and foremost, this movie serves as a sequel to Dune Part One (2021) which is required viewing before watching part two. The second part picks up directly where the first one left off.
I gave a glowing review for Dune Part One. And it is the same for Part Two. Almost everything is spectacular about this film. Visuals are stunning and epic (which translates to great cinematography).
The same can be said for its story. Just like the books by Frank Herbert it was adapted from, the story contains many underlying themes about society, in particular religion and politics.
However, a movie with so many metaphors may not be for everyone. Plus, the slow pacing and the movie taking its time to unravel may add to it. In its defence, I was ery immersed in everything and kept my attention throughout.
I believe I can go way more than this In complimenting the film but I’m gonna conclude here since I got a long day ahead of me. If you’re interested, you can scroll my profile to look for Dune (2021) review. All settings are set to public.
Overall, Dune Part Two is equally good as Dune Part One. Visually and story development. Therefore, I will give the same rating.
MY RATING: 9.5 out of 10
