I had the best lunch today with some of my campmates! Only 5 of us made it but we definitely made the most of it! It was even worth missing the Arsenal game for. (Not for @seannwalsh though, he left early to catch the QPR game 🙄😝)

Thanks for all of your get well soon messages xx First of all, I mean to say MICROGRAMS in this video not MILLIGRAMS so apologies there. (mcg not mg in dosage). Second of all, here’s the full cost breakdown: Consultation £250 Female Fertility Scan £300 Health Scan £250 Provera Hormone tablets £10 (2packs at £5 each) 2x 36 mcg pens £600 (£300 each) 1x 72 mcg pen £600 Meriofert (powder w/water injection) £210 (7x £30) One egg freezing cycle £3700 2x trigger injection (2 powders at £60 each) £120 5x post injections £150 (£30 each) 8 post tablets (1 tub) £10 < this one could be wrong as I can’t find the receipt so don’t quote me! *Forgot Progynova this is the HRT I took at the beginning I think it was £10 *Correction* Total £6210 Minus £300 for referrals Grand total £5910 give or take. You can see why I decided to stay in the UK to do it in the end, it probably would’ve worked out more going to Barbados and I would have still had to have paid for my scans in London. I think it’s dehydration if I’m honest and so I only have my self to blame for that so I’ll be downing some water and getting straight into bed once I’m home and showered. Egg Freezing Diary Day 24. 4 days post procedure and still not feeling great. Migraine won’t shift and I feel a tad lethargic. Everything else feels fine and the sore, tender feeling in my ovaries has gone, but my headache is just doing my head in. Literally! I’ve taken pain killers and I’ve upped my water intake so praying tomorrow there’s a change. Still glad I got to see all my family for pizza party today though and thank you @markwogan13 for our @homesliceldn pizza! Hey gang, Egg Freezing Diary Day 22! TRIGGER WARNING ⚠️ (NEEDLES) So sorry I didn’t get to post this yesterday, but it my first full day back to work at the @ideal_home_show and it was a busy one. The doctor was so impressed with how well I was doing and also the entire clinic were shocked at how well I looked (basically I had actually bothered to paint my face 🤣🤣🤣). Anyway, everything is looking good, I think I did too much yesterday as feeling slightly woozy today but after work I’m heading home to rest! #eggfreezing #eggfreezingjourney #eggfreezingprocess
Day 13! One of my friends messaged me this evening to say there was a piece on Egg Freezing on BBC News. I caught it and so glad I did. They said at the end of the report that there was a mini documentary on @bbciplayer called Egg Freezing and Me and so I put it on and wow, it’s brilliant! Day 12. Another set of scans and blood tests today. Follicles are finally growing nicely. Got a way to go though still. Had to buy another pen as running out of meds, that was a further £300 (I’ll go through costings at some point) but overall things are looking positive and are going in the right direction! Must remember to drink lots of water throughout this as the follicles collect water and so if you don’t, you can start to feel dehydrated and prone to headaches! #eggfreezing #eggfreezingprocess #eggfreezingjourney
Day 11… It’s a late diary entry today as I don’t do my injections until around 10pm. They say any time between 8 and 10pm but I know I’m more likely to be home and settled later on in the evening. Today is double injection day, I’ve shown you how the pen works but this is how the other injection works. Had another scan and a blood test done today. Follicles haven’t grown much but they didn’t expect much change as I’ve only been on the medication for 3 days. Hopefully by the time I go back on Tuesday there would have been a visible difference.
