Egg Freezing Diary Day 17 and my birthday! Yes I get emotional in this video but it’s been the first time I’ve shed a tear since I started this journey a few weeks ago (and not because I’m fully in the 35-45 age bracket lol) Ladies, you are not alone on this journey but it can feel lonely so take each day as it comes and ride that emotional wave knowing it won’t last forever 🫶🏾 #eggfreezing #eggfreezingjourney #eggfreezingprocess
Egg freezing diary day 20!! Egg collection done! Just in time for an Easter Egg Hunt lol 🥚 🥚🥚 Well, I’m going to be honest, I was very uncomfortable going in today ladies. The trigger injection really did exacerbate the bloating and lower abdominal pain and the closer it was getting to my egg retrieval the more uncomfortable I was becoming. I had to sit on my left side for most of the day! Anyway, eventually I was called in and the nurse, anaesthetist and doctor were all present, super caring and very friendly. Everything was explained thoroughly and I felt in good hands. I did shed a little tear just before the sedation went in, mainly because I was scared and nervous, but also because you have to do it all on your own; no one can come in with you. Anyway, best sleep I’ve ever had, came out, was in pain so they gave me some more pain relief, hung around for roughly an hour and a half afterwards and just as I was ready to leave the recovery room, I was told of my 24 eggs that were collected, 19 were viable for freezing!!!!! I was over the moon! That was more than I could have ever imagined and so I was and am so so happy that, to this point, it has all been worth it. Egg Freezing Diary Day 16! For those of you asking to see the injecting process here it is. PLEASE if you don’t like needles or are with a child watching this, keep scrolling, but this is the reality of it. I am bloated but I’ve not bruised once during this process. Some women do though so bear that in mind. I’m also feeling a lot better today. If you’re going through this please keep as hydrated as possible, it’s imperative. At least 3 litres a day if you can manage it. #eggfreezing #eggfreezingjourney #eggfreezingprocess

Egg Freezing Diary Day 15… You may have seen some articles saying I had been RUSHED to A&E last night. My mum drove at the 20mph speed limit to get me there 😅 Anyway, returned to the hospital again today, doc believes the numbness and tingling is a side affect of the hormones and sleeping funny. If, when I’ve when I’ve had my eggs out and stopped the injections I still have the problem, to the hospital I go for an MRI scan in case there’s anything more sinister going on in my head 😩🥴🤕 Until then, Chelsea V Arsenal, let’s go! #eggfreezing #eggfreezingdiary #eggfreezingjourney #eggfreezingprocess

Egg freezing diary day 21! 3 weeks of this and they’re finally out! I thought that was the end of injections but turns out I have another 5 days of them plus 8 days of tablets. Thanks for sticking with me for the ride, I’ll continue my diary until the end of the month so you know what recovery is like, but honestly ladies, this has been so worth it! On another note, I know I’ve not been looking my best lately but my body has been going through quite a lot over the last 21 days 😅 I promise I’ll stick a bit of make up on tomorrow and Saturday for Ideal Home Show though 😆 #eggfreezing #eggfreezingjourney #eggfreezingprocess

Egg Freezing Diary Day 18! So sorry I nearly forgot to post!! Thank you all for your kind words yesterday and of course my bday wishes! I’m definitely feeling better today. Emotions are still high but today more of annoyance and frustration, luckily there’s no one close to me to take the brunt of it 🙈 I’m so nearly there, two more days and the eggs will be out. Today 18 follicles were counted, doesn’t mean all will contain an egg and not all that do contain an egg will be healthy enough to freeze but the nurse was happy with the amount so fingers crossed I get as many as possible that are viable for the next step 🤞🏾 (Ps I meant 36 hours before not 48, I’m tired and have brain fog!) #eggfreezing #eggfreezingprocess #eggfreezingjourney
