Exactly a year ago today, I walked into a studio in Mahalakshmi, to just experience the Sohfit bootcamp once. The result – I got hooked – to the workouts, to the people in that room, to the man behind it all, to the experience & ethos that is Sohfit. That day, I’ve became a camper (as we like to call it), and I got welcomed into the family. 
My struggle with gyms was – the boredom of the repetition, and the impersonal feeling to them. Sohrab & the other coaches at Sohfit changed that experience completely. No 2 days of workouts have ever felt the same, because they aren’t. And Sohfit is anything but impersonal. It’s like suddenly finding a bunch of school friend in your adult life. I have grown to deeply love so many of them. It’s a beautiful community that supports each other, that pays attention to each other, that cares about each other, that works very hard, that pushed each other to work harder, that parties even harder together! This only happens when you have that energy at the top – @sohrabk82 and the OG bosslady @daneeshd. They are the nurturers of this whole amazing ecosystem made with all their heart and soul and a lot of hard work and dedication. And now they have the most stunning studio in Bandra, the Sohfit HQ, that makes you really feel the pinch when you can’t make it to class. It’s got the best natural light and the most beautiful energy. 
The invisible captain Daneesh is why Sohfit can exist. She works tirelessly while also bringing up two kids and being there for all her friends and loved ones (don’t know how you do it). She’s the glue, the Mama, the child of the group all at once. 
And finally my love letter to Sohrab. Quiet and reserved but with a lot of masti and fun, he hardly sleeps, he only cares about working to help people get what they need, he’s the most committed person I’ve seen. He makes it all look easy and effortless but there’s a lot of toil behind it all. He’s an excellent teacher because he’s an excellent student. He’s a tough task master. He’s often sadistic but actually he’s got the sweetest, softest heart. He’s a beautiful human, trying to serve as many other humans he can.
