RAZOR CUTTING MY BANGS AT HOME ✂️🤘🏻
I’m not a professional but I’ve been cutting my fringe at home for years and years. This was my first time attempting a razor and I will definitely be doing it like this moving forward because I found adding texture with a razor to be far easier than scissors. I will say cutting the length is a learning curve so I’ve gotta work on my technique! 😬 Scissors are a great option for getting the overal length and shape you’re after before diving in with a razor, if you’re a razor rookie like me. And definitely still love having my scissors on hand to clean any stragglers up at the end.

WEARING vs STYLING the dress I wore the other night!
I love this little leather heart shift dress so much but as soon as I put it on my 5’3 frame, it swallowed me up so I used a gorgeous wide belt with heavy hardware to bring back some shape to my body and add interest where my lack of legs did not lol
These beautiful boots can be styled up like I wore them here or folded over, which would look super cute with jeans and then finished it off with a statement chain necklace and matching clutch.

While I’d love to sit here and just spend today celebrating my fellow women for the brilliant badasses we are, I’m overwhelmed by the regression we’ve seen over these past 2 years.
Progress is possible. We know this. But it requires all genders to step up and demand it. Challenging the status quo, questioning the intention and bias of decision makers, voicing the controversial opinions… you know the drill.
Whether you’re one of the all too rare female founders who has the means and opportunity to provide resources you didn’t have access to and create opportunity for other women to join you at the table or an Oscar-nominated man who has the platform to advocate for a woman (or two)’s entitlement to the same (or greater!) recognition or a human who can acknowledge that no one’s personal beliefs of any kind should factor into a woman’s right to autonomy over her own body… it is for the benefit of absolutely everyone that gender equality is deemed vital.
